Can you really make money with your woodcarving?
Well, the answer is Yes.
But not without learning how to do at least decent quality work.
Sometimes you can hit just the right niche and that's all you need as long as your skills are good enough to produce a recognizable carving.
Wood spirits for instance like I like to carve are great sellers almost anywhere, they have many ways you can utilize them once you can carve them decent enough to sell.
For instance you can put them on
Bottle stoppers, walking sticks, canes, wall hangings, knife handles, almost anything made of wood.
Here are some examples and places to sell your work.
Etsy.com is a great place you can open your own shop and sell.
Ebay.com is a great place to move woodspirits on a regular basis.
Flea Markets are always a great selling place where people get wowed everytime they see your carvings.
Art shows and craft shows sell well.
Make your own website and drive traffic to it such as Stixandstonewoodcarving.com
These are just a few ways to move your carvings.
Being a good business person is most of the work, the carving is the fun part. That's My Opinion
